It is the Italian Alberto Nosé who won last Saturday the Monte Carlo Piano Masters 2015.
On Saturday, September 5, the Monte-Carlo Piano Masters final was held at the opera, thanks in particular to the unfailing support of the SAFRA bank and the SBM.
The Italian Alberto Nosè, who distinguished himself by the mastery of his game, was opposed to the Greek Vassilis Varvaresos, who shone by his musicality.
Both performed Chopin’s 13th nocturne, followed by a concerto (2nd by Rachmaninov and 1st by Tchaikovsky), accompanied by the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic orchestra, under the baton of Laurent Petitgirard.
Olivier Bellamy (journalist), Li Jian (pianist), Momo Kodama (pianist), Abdel Rahman El Bacha (pianist), René Croesi (Former artistic director of the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra), was joined for the occasion by a “candid”, starred chef Joël Robuchon.
Together they awarded the Prince Rainier III Prize to the Italian Alberto Nosè, who left with € 30,000 as well as a number of concerts.
